We are a small dedicated team with 30 years of combined  diving experience in Bali, we provide superior quality  diving and service to the highest standard. And have  exceptional knowledge of Bali's dive sites.

For your enjoyment and safety - We  have specialised to create 
personalised diving services for very  small groups, maximum 4 per guide,
Depending on interest and experience .

Yes Dive is based on the main street of Candidasa, close to  The Watergarden hotel and beside Puri Pandan.

Candidasa is a quiet seaside town in East Bali, Karangasem  region - the most beautiful region of Bali. For more on  Candidasa see Resorts

We conduct daily diving excursions, Tailor made diving packages, including accommodation to suit all budgets, PADI Dive Courses, from one day Introductory Dives to Divemaster, and Specialties. Private diving and Group concessions, Private boat charter, special coastal cruises and Lavish Honeymoon treats

Diving The East Coast requires good judgement and experienced guides, there are 3 divers working at Yes  dive, with at least 30 years combined experience of Dive Mastering, guiding and Instructing in East Bali.

Sue Jarvis from Yorkshire in England is co-owner/manager and the chief guide/Instructor. She has been diving professionally since 1991, and in Bali since 1993. She is PADI MSDT Instructor and NZ Coastgaurd trained. She was formerly the founder and co-owner of Geko Dive Bali for ten years and featured in the Periplus Diving in Bali guide book.

David Pickell wrote " We'd be  tempted to say that this outfit knows more about the East Coast Bali and Nusa Penida  sites than any other operator on the island. Nobody has lost their wonder for the underwater world, or for Bali." Sue has also dived and travelled  extensively around Indonesia freelancing from  time to time on top  live-aboards and resorts.

 

Komang 'Kaling' is from Candidasa, he is CMAS trained and has been a dive guide in  East Bali since 1996.

Gusti Ngurah is also from Candidasa, he is a PADI DM and has been guiding East  Bali since 2004. He is currently saving to achieve Instructor rating.

 

 

Equipment We are proud to use only the highest quality diving equipment, maintained to the  highest standard, in-fact as of July 2009 it is all brand new. We currently have 8 sets for rental -  Scubapro and Aqualung. 26 tanks and Bauer  compressor . Nitrox coming soon.

Boats
For local dives - Gilli's Tepekong, Mimpang, Biaha and Padang Bai, we typically leave from the  beach behind Yes Dive, by traditional local boat. Only 2 or 3 per boat for a short  ride out. We make 2 dives and return in time for a great lunch at Pandan Sea  view restaurant.
For further afield / coastal. Or family groups - Paramitha III Is a beautiful sleek traditional styled outrigger. She is 15 meters long with twin 70HP 4 stroke engines, which makes for quiet peaceful sailing. Spacious roof top sun-deck - fully cushioned for comfort, toilet, 2 very large retractable tables for  cameras and comfortable dining Safety features include 20 life vests - adult and  child, mobile phone, and fire-extinguisher.
Manta point, Crystal Bay and Nusa Penida / Further afield and Lombok Super fast speed boats featuring twin 250hp 4 stroke engines ensures speed  and comfort on longer journeys. A number of private boat available to Yes Dive,  reaches Manta Point in 15 minutes and Lombok in less than 30 minutes.

Safety standards All guests should have own diving insurance, we recommend DAN. America dan@DiversAlertNetwork.org or www.danasiapacific.org ! The East coast can have some mild to wild, and downright scary and unpredictable currents. There are also  nice quiet bays to dive. Whilst we endeavour to dive any site at the optimum time for the best conditions, and  lighting, things can and do change - for  your safety and enjoyment it is recommended to dive at the quieter  dive sites for the first day/s if you are a new, unfamiliar or rusty diver. We always give a full & comprehensive dive briefing and useful tips / lessons in how to deal with currents. For  your protection we provide each diver with a safety sausage. WE Always carry medical oxygen.
